Last time, we explored what participants in the 2019 Land O’Lakes Global Food Challenge Emerging Leaders Program learned and how they planned to put those learnings into practice. Here, the Emerging Leaders talk about what made the biggest impressions on them during their travels.
Rachel Grober, from New Hampton, Iowa, studies agricultural business, economics, and supply chain management at Iowa State University. Her passion for agriculture was ignited at a young age, as she was born and raised on her family’s dairy farm. Through her early experiences, she was able to develop a passion for doing meaningful work, even when it may not be easy and recognized her own desires to be a servant leader in our ever-changing world. This loyal Cyclone is excited to work on a collaborative team dedicated to developing solutions that will promote opportunities for agricultural advancements in all areas of the world.
