Alexander Hall is from the small, rural town of Georgiana, Alabama, and he is studying food science at Alabama A&M University. He grew up in an area where the access to quality food is scarce — this prompted his aspirations to develop innovative ways to combat food insecurity. When not in the classroom, you can find him volunteering at the local community center after school program for inner city children, working as a residential assistant, serving as a student ambassador or conducting research in the biotechnology lab.
